Getting out here.

Our day is set out on the Āwhitu Peninsula, near the settlement of Pollok.

This quaint township on the southern side of the Manukau Habour has been home to Lili’s family since the 1860’s.

The trip takes roughly 1 hour 30 mins from central Auckland. To get to Pollok, we recommend you either:

  • Take a car

  • Take our courtesy bus from the Auckland CBD

  • Take our courtesy shuttle from local accomodation around the peninsula

To make sure we have enough space (and to avoid having empty seats), both the bus and shuttle must be booked through your Paperless Post RSVP.

While both taxis and Ubers will reach out to Pollok, these do not come cheap, so we do not recommend you rely on these.

 

Courtesy Bus

Our courtesy bus will leave from H&M commercial bay (see location below) at 1:15 pm. This will take you directly to our venue, with time to get seated, enjoy the view and some refreshments before the ceremony.

The bus will depart our venue 11:30 pm sharp to arrive back at H&M at 1:00 am on Sunday morning.

Please ensure this is selected on your RSVP. Closer to the time, a confirmation of the bus arrival and departure details will be sent to you as a reminder.

 

Courtesy Shuttle

For those more local trips, no further than Waiuku, we will have a courtesy shuttle operating throughout the day.

Please indicate on your RSVP if you have booked accomodation around the area and would require a courtesy shuttle.

Car

If you are planning to drive, we will have plenty of parking on site. Follow the gravel driveway up the hill, and please make sure to park in the designated vehicle parking area.

Staying out here.

You are welcome to stay on site using your own campervan or tent for Saturday night. While we will have shower and toilet facilities on site, this is not a powered site.

There are some Air BnBs scattered around Āwhitu if you wish to stay in the area. Alternatively there are accomodation providers in Waiuku, which is a 20 minute drive from the site.
